In collaboration with your family doctor, the Maternal Support Nurse is here to provide moms with any or all of the following:
- Personalized prenatal support
- Preparing for baby
- Personalized postnatal support
- Breastfeeding
- Safe sleep for baby
- Dealing with colic and crying
- Healthy eating for baby
- Baby’s developmental milestones
- Postpartum depression and anxiety
- Sex and intimacy
- Contraception options
- Healthy lifestyle planning for new parents
- Parenting challenges (fatigue, bonding, stress)
- Support related to a baby’s diagnosed medical condition
- Grief support (miscarriage and stillbirth)
- Liaison with community programming
